UNREAL DEVELOPER


Summary

As a Mid-level Unreal developer, you will work on various projects, from console games and AR/VR to interactive installations and attractions; we promise you will never get bored! Responsibilities vary based on the project, and we strive to place you on projects that play to your strengths while giving you room to grow as a Developer. This position is open for either remote or on-site.

Role Details

  • Salary in fair range depending on experience and expertise


Responsibilities

  • Implement new features or systems
  • Assist in the creation of technical design documents for new systems
  • Review game design documents and provide feedback
  • Implement low-level subsystems for new platforms
  • Ensure adherence to platform compliance requirements
  • Debug and test implementations to ensure the software functions properly
  • Resolve trouble tickets and document actions and resolutions for reference
  • Work closely with the Quality Assurance department to maintain a high level of stability.
  • Communicate with other department personnel to gather project requirements and verify product satisfaction
  • Perform other duties as required


Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of C++ and good knowledge of C# or PythonStrong debugging skills
  • Able to adapt to new codebases and platforms
  • The ability to communicate clearly, work well in a team environment, and work efficiently in a time-sensitive situation. 
  • Desire to learn and grow.
  • Degree in Computer Science/ Engineering, or the equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of professional experience as a developer in the Game, Film, VR/AR Industries.
  • 3+ years of experience using game engines such as Unreal and/or Unity.


Physical Requirements

  • Be able to be physical by bending, stooping, and twisting.
  • Reaching above and/or below the shoulder.
  • Handling/grasping documents or office equipment.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Clear speaking and adequate hearing are sufficient to communicate effectively and respond appropriately in person and/or on the telephone.
  • Vision sufficient to read source materials and computer screen data.
  • Repetitive motions for computer equipment use.
  • Work is performed primarily in an office environment using standard office equipment. 
  • Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move 25 pounds occasionally
